Reeves Pantry
Traditional Tea Rooms in Cuckfield

Our tearoom is named after an exceptional lady called Edie Reeves, a wonderful cook and delightful grandmother.

Her influence is here; from the warm welcome you will always find when you visit, to the generous slices of homemade cake on offer. She never could cut a small slice of cake, and neither do we!

We serve a generous full English breakfast every day until 12, then light lunches such as quiche (homemade of course) and salad, or our popular fish finger sandwich with tartare sauce. We change our blackboards regularly, so you will always find a variety of dishes. Children have plenty of choice, from little toastie soldiers to their very own Mini Ploughman’s platter.

We serve a choice of delicious cream teas with home made scones and preserves, or our spectacular High Tea for bigger appetites - all served on traditional tiered plates.

Our menu is updated regularly to reflect seasonal produce available, which means you will find strawberries with your cream tea in the Summer and hearty soups when the weather turns chilly.

Visit our Pantry for locally produced jams, marmalades and chutneys, Sussex Charmer cheese, free range eggs and freshly baked bread (currently available on Saturdays). You will soon find our traditional pies, quiches, cakes and scones to sample and buy.

We’re in Cuckfield High Street, next to the Co-op. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

We believe the most enjoyable food is freshly prepared here in our shop and locally sourced, so wherever possible we will use the delicious seasonal ingredients available in and around Sussex, produced by local suppliers.

There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour spent taking afternoon tea.
